shoo!

He doesn't even know what a crown is. But he wears one. Invisible it is, but everybody seems to notice it.
Some are just born not to give a damn…

Flow

Because passion, wilderness, fire, heat, zeal are all the tastes. With these words I make art. And art like this makes words for me.  “Flow” is the word that I am trying to explain here. I know I can’t because the words I choose to use while describing it, does flow with meaning too.
Colors just like to flow. UNTAMED. So does a horse!

Just a thought...

Sometimes life seems complex to me. We fight wars in the name of a benevolent God, create division between us as people when it comes to social status, abortion, politics, race, personal choice — the list could go on and on.
We are afraid of germs so we carry Germ-X, but we aren't really sure what is in most of the foods we eat. It seems we are all fighting our own mini-wars of the head and the heart.

We hear all of the time to "live in the moment," but what does that mean, exactly? Would we still have time to hate? To be cruel? To be arrogant?

When we see someone clearly distressed, we took a moment to be totally present with our own feelings of vulnerability in difficult times and from that place offered a compassionate ear and tender word, maybe even a hug. (I'm not so sure about licking faces like pets does)

I've noticed how a single flower can brighten a room and how a baby can make even the toughest hearts smile. I think life generally has ups, downs and sometimes sideways — all of it weaving the tapestry of our lives, our stories and our ancestry.

Birth without the miracle of life would appear violent and strange, but because we know otherwise, we courageously push through to the other end. There's a completion to a cycle, and we are satisfied with that. I wonder if we could apply that to our dreams and aspirations, tough times and heartbreak?

I don't understand that with so many out of work why we aren't creating beautiful things in ways that are unique to us. We may destroy our atmosphere, our oceans, our health, but in the end we are still left with that glow until we take our last breath. What is that, and can it be destroyed?

Whatever it is that makes us feel alive — whether it be painting or drawing, model cars or creating community, are we doing it? And if we aren't, why not? As the glimmer of hope moves through us, do we give up? Can we really give up? Or is it a constant nagging at our heartstrings to take time to feel and know that everything in life has a cycle to which it is born.

COLOR ME!

COLORS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

express

These are the metaphors. They change tempo. Quicken in volume, sting at times. they are full of emotions of various sorts. They are filled with facts, no matter how they come out, they are clear. They communicate, they breathe, they feel, they make you feel. they feed on passion! You know where my pride is stored? Here!!

connection

I love how letters spill on a page
They form and fill your mind
When they start to make sense
The words can start imaging
Into cohesive pictures
And sometimes
Through this process
You can really make a connection
It's random and quite amazing

stare

So I just sit and stare… off into space waiting for inspiration to write what is meant to be written (Trying to avoid labels).  Lyrics flow in my mind but I don’t want to appreciate beauty today. I am done with it I guess. So I just sit and stare. Stare at this blank piece of paper and I made eyes staring at me. And I just could not move beyond. I made a face and the expressions made me tickle. But as I said I did not want to write about beauty today. And while I was just sitting and starring, I looked beyond her face, beyond her lexis. Something that constitutes it. And colors did flow automatically.

underwater

Come swim with me. When you are thousand feet underwater chained to the anchor of your words, chained to the anchor of your indiscretion, you will never know how the sun shines.
Whatever be that reason that allowed you such drowning, are all yesterday’s thoughts that let you run like a fearless mess for all the wrong reasons. Sunlight ripples its way into the darkness to uncover the ghosted death thousand feet underneath chained to the meaningless words trying to save the dead. Save your pretty soul. Swim up and bathe into colors.

wall painting

wall painting.
taking a break from the love of canvas painting. wanted things more decorated around. wanted more art around. I PAINTED THE WALL with slight Rajasthani touch (inspired by my recent visit) The elephant’s trunks brushing the ground.
the color of sun strengthening nerves and mind, elemental earthy brown projecting stability and the slight tease of energy synonym: red. and ofcorce, then there are elephants! the perfect picture :)

this is where it is....

Lord Krishna and Gopis

painting a 7 by 5 feet canvas with lord Krishna and Gopis.
art in process. the elements namely fire, water, earth, air and space sensory aspects of one's being and Lord Krishna;s lovers, the Gopis are the personifications of such energies. the divine power that animates life. bright colors are the language of same.  Lord Krishna is almighty, very powerful and learned but there is a cult of devotion in which person falls in love with him. its very easy to fall in love with him. know more about him and you will love him more each time. through bright and colorful dresses i tried to swirl the energies and the bright yellow is as radiant as the aura of him with knowledge and wisdom. more of it is yet to come......

Traveler

The desktop Wanderers and the trail setters. we all need maps. some need a map to know what to fallow and others to mark what not to follow.
Stretch your map   and let let the tree stretch its branches. you see, its the tree to give you all sort of spiritual beliefs attached to it. because its international. its from all over. the roots belong there, the branched spread there, the leave flourish here and so on. Just like you, its a traveler too.

new

i needed new colors, so i took them from my soul.

Flame

flame. i took pencils and pastels and ink pens. took crayons of my life and noticed each moment turning into past tense. candles in my meditating room were flaunting shades of their flames whereas i felt colorless. i took my sheet to it and surrendered. after burning a couple of them, i noticed some patterns. i took out a fresh bundle and made art out it.

SURPRISE!!

the rock you sat on has a moving ability... and is pretty angry!

Un-defined

float loose and break the lines. go higher than smoke, burn brighter than fire, settle faster than residue, and stay undefined, like the flame, like the smoke of the same.
stimulate the soul and let it form patterns of its own. let it go to the nights much more quite than this. day more serene than this. go and see yourself where you want to see yourself. enter into your dream. float in the waves of passion and desire. let go of time. past present and future. Stay undefined. Just let yourself be and surprise yourself!

Breaking the law.

The afterworld manifests an extension of its legacy whenever and wherever the awakening egos stand guard to its domain and faithful beliefs rejoice in the rebirth. but before that could happen, selfish ideals assume to fetch number of unworthy compliments. acknowledging the rigid intentions that ward off options and shrink in the limited self created vacuum. break that stubborn pattern!
accept the "wholeness" and receive its immanent callings. dance in the shadow that time casts. widespread is the other side!

peacock dance

it was a weird weather today. it rained and looked like it washed the colour of the sky. it seemed white. it was beautiful white, reminded me of my canvas. looked up to find some clouds to play "whats that" game but it was sort of endless white. eyes descended like the dew falls and got caught up in the branches of clapping leaves of brighter than ever green. all shades of green looked like god used vacume cleaner all around. every thing seemed fresh, lively and bright. i wanted to capture the feeling. the energy, the moment, the spectrum of beautiful vibes.
when i was in the middle of it, i got reminded of that one creature who would have enjoyed the most. the after rain time means PEACOCK DANCING. (if you haven't seen it yet, trust me you are missing something)

(picture clicked on the stand so please avoid the bottom border)

spreading the beautiful mast, showing the sea of color that arises from beauty and grace.  the metallic neck stretches and holds the sage eyes that are disguised in the swirls of midnight blue. white that twirls around with the dance of celebration.the golden glance of him looks self obsessed (for all the obvious reasons).  the crown is the authority he holds over the world of creativity came to life. maybe the word *beautiful* was invented after seeing a peacock dance ;)

florescent galaxy

i sat with this [24 inch (width) 36 inches in length] plain white sheet and my tools remembering what my client demanded. Bright. Colorful. vibrant and lively. so the first step i took was take out all my florescent colors and dip my brush into them and smudge them randomly over my canvas.
when i had four huge color spots, i decided what shape i would rather mold them into and then came "elephants" in my mind <despite their huge size ;) >

its winters and so damn cold out side and one simply cannot avoid the influence they cast on one. consciously or unconsciously. i painted the background deep navy blue and white highlighted all the important features and hence balanced my piece of art pretty impressively.
HERE IS WHAT SHE BOUGHT:
the florescent attitudes displayed, hues against the wave. the petals from ferociousness, wreck-less on sail.its bound to slip when glaring with fashion focused exercise. In this navy blue galaxy; floats the milky dreams...

Brahma

Brahman itself constitutes all the essential building materials of reality. "Brahma" is the substance from which everything proceeds. i was inspired to create a painting on the concept symbol of "creations". he is a creator and i painted this specific concept of the absolute.

in love and delight, like the flutter of an oceanic wave, provide thee to me something. a place where impossible is achieved. where you become brainwashed and convinced. where you sway to mesmerize detached  from illusions. beneath these closed eyes lies a "Brahman" itself. intoxicating desires burns to resonate fuses; become one with divine creator.
